Babalu Knoxville

It was our first time in this restaurant and definitely the last time. At the beginning everything was fine: the service was very friendly and the restaurant looked very nice. Unfortunately the food was a disaster. We had the beef and chicken tacos. Unfortunately it didn't taste good at all and had no taste. The Caesar salad with chicken was even worse. The salad was simply slapped onto the plate, without any sauce. The chicken was very dry and the salad without sauce was a disaster. It's a shame that such bad food is served at such a location.

This place is nice, it has good food and atmosphere. The best part is that you don't have to wait hours for a table

My first visit to Babalu's and the ambience and location were very nice but it was so hot in the restaurant, very uncomfortable. Our visit went down hill after that. We ordered an appetizer and clould not enjoy it. Our waitress bothered us every 2 mins asking if we were ready to order. We finally had to tell her that we would call for her when we're ready to order. We constantly had ask for water refills, even though she was at our table every 2 mins. She would bring us new glasses but never clean off the used glasses. I finally had to ask for then to be cleared. When our dinner arrive, the first thing that struck me was how small our portion sizes were. Terrible! I won't be going back.

Kayla H. was an amazing server! She made our experience outstanding. The bowl and shrimp tacos were phenomenal.
