Harvest - Knoxville

I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant considering the price. The sides lacked seasoning, including the cauliflower and risotto which were almost flavorless. The shiitake mushrooms served with the salmon were soggy and lacked their earthy flavor. The salmon itself was cooked well, but the "Asian glaze" was just a simple teriyaki sauce that was nothing special. The "fall" chicken and risotto dish was average, with the chicken slightly overcooked and in need of more sauce or seasoning. My autumn mule cocktail was good and the service was fine, with our waitress being attentive. The ambiance was quiet and calm, making it easy to have a conversation.

The food is too salty and service is not good. will never go back again

We went for our anniversary celebration and the seating arrangement was not private at all. I made reservations well in advance and there were booths or private table options available that could have been reserved. I had indicated it was our anniversary on the reservation and Harvest was aware of the occasion. They had printed out a small greeting and placed it on our table, wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Our table was open seating and I was sitting on a bench seat with another person sitting 3' from both sides of me. The food was overpriced and nothing special. Overall, very disappointed. I will make reservations next time at a more intimate and established place that has personal seating arrangements and if you tell them the occasion they will make sure that you are at a location in the restaurant that is not in the center of the activity with other guests and the staff.

We always have a high quality of food and service. This is one of our favorite places in Knoxville. Excellent bartenders and unique specialty drinks. Great wine selection as well. Highly recommend.

First time visit for son's 40th BD. Setting, atmosphere, ambiance was acceptable, if noisy...Food was so-so for the price. Service was disappointing.
