Chipotle Mexican Grill - Knoxville

Every time I come to this Chipotle everyone is super helpful and nice! I have never had a bad experience here, so it surprises me that there are some bad reviews. For the people who have left bad reviews, you probably haven't worked in the food industry.You can not complain about them not having an item, slow service, or anything like that ESPECIALLY when they are clearly understaffed. Chipotle workers are doing multiple positions at once as well as their OWN job so there is no reason to complain. They are doing their best. If you're complaining to the workers in any way, Im sure they would be more than happy to direct you to the application online :

Super friendly workers. Large outdoor seating area. Store was clean. Everything was perfectly fresh.

My hard earned lettuce did not earn much lettuce in return. This Chipotle has been improving from more recent experiences, but the supply chain issues, cost, and quantity are going to eventually pose a challenge for Chipotle. Paying amounts approaching $20 for a bowl that has this little ingredients isn't going to entice one to consider Chipotle as a real option. Hoping this turns around.

Very nice location in the Cedar Bluff area. Seems to be frequented by business professionals and fairly busy at lunch time! I loved my burrito bowl, especially the new steak option! I wish they’d bring back chorizo. Pro tip, the large Chips and guacamole is enough to feed 2+ adults.

First impression was no one smiled. At all. Employees just looked at me as I walked in and to the counter. Waited a minute to be waited on and even then, no smile or greeting just what can I get you? . Then I looked down at the food... Looked dry and counter was dirty. There was a girl mopping so the floor was clean. Almost changed my mind and walked out but I remembered I read the Health Department inspections for this week and I don 't recall seeing them having any problems. So I placed my order and got out of there pretty quickly because the vibe just wasn 't good and welcoming. It was almost like when they felt having a customer in the store was an inconvenience. It was really weird. The cashier girl was friendly, but even a hint of a smile would have made her more pleasant. The food was good enough. Just a little dry, but not as much as I expected it would be. This could have been a 5 star review if they were a little more engaged in the customer service area and the food and food prep area looked better. But I give 3 for having everything I wanted, tasted pretty good, good portion sizes, and the cashier was nice.
