Buddy's B-q - Knoxville

I was here a few times, at some point the order is correct and sometimes it is not as today. And when they try, the woman looks a question on the car through her as if they are imposing on her. please also give them men's serviettes and straws when I order food and drink I need both. I should not have to ask poor service overall.

I don’t know why I keep frequenting this location expecting a different result. Every time I go I leave disappointed, but it’s so close to my office that I keep returning. I stopped getting the pulled pork sandwich because on numerous occasions it was more fat and gristle than meat. I got a hotdog today with mustard, chili, onions and slaw. When I took it out of the container everything that was supposed to be on it was in the container because it had been placed in the bag upside down. I’m not sure if this a management issue or what, but the only thing this location is consistent on is disappointment. I will say the girl at the drive through was friendly.

I loved eating here. The food was great BBQ. The atmosphere was great clean and service was great too. I didn't have to wait very long to get my food.

Buddy's has been a Knoxvile staple for a long time. I believe they use to have Blue Grass bands at one point. The food is touch and go, so I try to frequent when it's busier. I like the combo meal with the pulled pork, ribs (2 small bones), and I ask for pulled chicken instead of the small (sometimes dry) 1/2 chicken. There are several sides to chose from. I like the corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans, and hushpuppies. Ask for sauce! You may assume they will add it but sometimes yhey don't. I think they have specials on Tuesdays.

Everything was in order until my friend and I had a bite of the pommes. these frits were extremely stiff and hardened. not the type of frey they want to enjoy. this was the first time that it happened in a long time, but there were some noticeable changes in the taste of their green beans as well. it's not the same lately.
