One thai cuisine and noodle bar was the best thai food I have tasted in Townsville the food was as authentic as thai can be in Australia I requested thai style cooking tun the chef used thai ingredients for the meal it was excellent. tun has international experience as a chef and was one of the top chefs for thai food in new south wales prior to moving to Townsville very few people know this fact only close family and friends know of this fact. all food in this restaurant is hand made as much as possible by nat and tun and family.

New in town we've tried a few Thai takeaway but we stopped looking when we found One Thai. Now our local Friday takeaway - delicious!

We enjoy Thai food, and this is the best outside Thailand. The Chilli and Basil has just enough "bite". The Duck One Thai is one for the duck lovers. The meals are a good size, with heaps of meat in the dishes (not just bulked up with veggies). Each dish has there own distinctive flavour.

Really friendly service and fast as well! If you like spring rolls give these guys a try! I would have to say easily they are best in town - I never stop at just one or two... more like three or four. The sauce that comes with them has a nice tang that adds to exotic flavour. Would very much recommend!

Seven friends dined in as a group and most had a dish with prawns which were plentiful in number, a good size and super fresh as were the other ingredients. Two guests whipped out phones to photograph the food, a good indication of the presentation. Order hot if you like spicy, the medium is mild however Nart did enquire about the heat and readily brought out freshly chopped red chilli to add. We visited for lunch and Nart the friendly lady had set up three tables in the quite small (and hot) space for us and put glasses in the soft drink refrigerator to chill. This is a take way more than a restaurant but we went for the food and were not disappointed.
