Cafe Galiano - Kingston

Our needs were simple and a coffee and roasted sandwich were enough. the prices and quality were good and the toastie was on large format brot.

I live in the opposite and cafe galiano is one of the caffes where I know I get good food and coffee. I only started to go back, as the COVID restrictions are cancelled. decided to have the big breakfast with a side of avocado and a latte. a good firm. I also had the brekky bagel in earlier places, which is a good smaller breakfast meal. I came here this morning, which meant that it wasn't busy (sometimes when it's busy, eating can take a while, but waiting is worth it). the caffe has a good selection of sweet tasty items in the display case and also has gluten-free brot options for their meals. they also have a fidelity coffee card where the 10th coffee is free. friendly staff, money value and a good place to have a breath from the business of the shopping center.

I am allergic to swirling, so ordered an salat sandwich without. it came with a whistle, so I sent it back, but the staff just picked it up. when it came back, it still had to be swirling so I had a new sandwich with another filling with...no mayo. about 15 minutes the owner came out and asked if I wanted mayo. I was so frustrated at this place that I cancelled and asked for a refund. the owner came back and evaluates me before all, including young children. that culminated in the owner who told me several times to flee. I have never been treated like this in my 66 years and a zero rating would be too high for this place.

Cafe galiano is a fairly standard café you can find in large shopping centers without much character or something very special. the coffee was good and the service was slow.

Just a shopping mall cafe, but what sets this apart is the service. Friendly and helpful staff work here. Happy to serve you some great coffee and if I am honest great pies and sandwiches too
