Denny's - Kingston

My son and I visiting from Ottawa. Just finished the KP tour and were hungry for a hot good breakfast. The coffee was old and cold. The food was nothing like on the menu, missing toast and barely warm. Was appalled that we paid almost $4 separately for a lukewarm cup of hours old coffee. Not even offered top ups? On a positive note, the server was pleasant. Extremely disappointed paying $40 for a cold, incomplete breakfast.

Right when I walked in I was greeted with such a warm welcome from candi, such a positive person and such a lovely way to start the day, her service was amazing as she always checked on us and made sure we were happy and satisfied! I couldn’t of been more greatful for her amazing service and kind smile.Parking: Plenty of parking, close to restaurant.

Our Denny’s experience was impeccable, from the service to the food everything was magnificent. Not only was our food delicious, but it was brought to our table fresh, in a timely manner, and with a friendly face. Whether you’re looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch, Denny’s is the place to go! Ask for Avery for the best service there is!

Candi is a fantastic waitress. She is friendly, attentive, and makes sure coffee mug is always full. As for the food….meh. Onions in omelette way too big-chop them smaller. Who wants to bite into a huge piece of onion. The omelette was completely flavourless even when stuffed with ham, peppers and onions. As for the atmosphere- there isn’t much-every Denny’s looks the same. This place could use some updating. The only thing updated is the prices-$25.74 for an omelette and a cup of coffee. Won’t be running back here for breakfast. Much better food at toast and jam, Peter’s, etc.

Candi took care of us today for my Birthday breakfast and it was the best experience we’ve ever had. She was so kind, and helpful. She made it the best Birthday ever! We can’t wait to go back!!
