This may be the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fries were disappointing—small and filled with numerous little bits. I won't be coming back; I'll check out the new place across the street instead. I also find it puzzling why a fish and chip shop would sell stuffed animals.

Very disappointing. I ordered crumbed whiting which you can see from the photo was awful. Ok, so thats first problem. But second worse is not only did the owner not offer my money back but also made excuses for the poor product ‘oh we get that in. we don’t crumb it ourselves’ So what stop buying it if its sub standard.The chips were also not very nice. Nothing like nice fresh ones you get with clean oil etc. Its like they were sitting a while. Anyways, you will be able to see for yourself by the Owner's reply whether they have bothered to take it seriously or choose to ignore what happened.

Best fish n chips in Launceston. I get withdrawals when they have a break between Xmas and New Year. I always ask for my chips to be cooked a little longer so they are golden in colour. Love the staff. Always friendly and have time for a quick chat. Hurry up back

Top little shop with great food and friendly staff. We've been coming here for years and the quality is always high. Burgers are our favourite.
