School holidays so probably not the best time but my young daughter and I both had penne with a Napoli sauce. We were not even offered Parmesan cheese. There was something on the pasta but an approximation of Parmesan only. In my book, an Italian restaurant can be judged on its tomato sauce and this restaurant cannot do it. Watery, acidic and served without care. Staff (owner? not that friendly and young wait staff with v basic skill levels. Why is Italian food such an abused cuisine? For me, avoid this place as with most 'Italian ' restaurants. There are so few good places. Most of us can cook better at home.
I had the Dom’s Grande breakfast this morning. Fairly good value for money with a large serving. The scrambled eggs, toast, tomato and sausages were good. The mushrooms were watery and tasteless and the bacon tasted cheap and gamey. The service was slow and cursory. Overall, just ok.
Literally the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Ordered the gluten free margarita. Just order from a chain pizza store instead and save your tastebuds.
A lovely, relaxing restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. Every dish my family and I ate was tasty and enjoyable. The Arancini, Ravioli, Tortellini, Pizza and Spaghetti meatballs were all very delicious. We plan on coming back again the next time we visit Caloundra.
