Murphy's Ice Cream - Killarney

After wandering around Killarney one evening, we decided to do an ice cream for dessert. During our 13 days in Ireland, we noticed that ice cream must be the favorite dessert of the Irish. You see it everywhere, and we also noticed that Murphy's was in most towns. But this was our first try of it. My wife went basic, with vanilla, but I tried the Irish brown bread. It was unlike any ice cream I have ever had, and very good. Highly recommend that one, if you want to expand your horizons!

The best about Murphy’s is the friendly staff and great service ! There is seating in the shop to enjoy the cones. You are paying for an authentic experience of locally made ice cream so enjoy the moment and treat.

Let me say from the start, We Love Murphy’s Ice Cream, The Staff are a pleasure to meet every time Weather in Killarney or Dingle, The Ice Cream as I tell Guests is the best in the World!! But please €8.50 €7 for a cone And I know things are tuff!!

On a stag and one the lads suggested this place. Did not disappoint. Got 3 scoops. Chocolate Whiskey, Dingle sea salt and the brown bread ice cream. Wonderful and tasty. Anytime I come back to Killarney I will be stopping here. The staff were great and very helpful with questions about the town and the ice cream. Caomihe and Jacob were the staff in the day.
