We wanted to sit outdoors on their popular porch so we had to wait, but we were able to have a drink outdoors while waiting. Even though it was an hour within closing they got us in, fed us and were pleasant. Great customer service from the mature hostess as well as the server. Most dinners are between $10 and $20 per person.
Food was excellent and service was very good. Enjoy it so much that we came twice during our fifth night visit in the area. Baseball steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. You could rival Ruth? Chris or Morton, but at a reasonable price. Chicken Parm and Cordon Blue were both very good. Parking was tight, and ready to wait for a short table, but they have a small bar in the back and you can have a drink on the terrace while waiting. I'm glad we found this jewel.
Very friendly staff and check-in and in the restaurant in the morning. Clean rooms with additional towels and dog friendly. Only $15 per pet! Dinner is popular although so call on the waiting list when you are placed? and so on. Looks like they have a decent selection of wine and a nice dinner menu. Breakfast was great and they give you a nice large cup of coffee.
Stopped in from Colorado and we LOVED IT! It was super close to our hotel and Mt. Rushmore. Before you go, call ahead and ask if you can join the waiting list?this gave us time to check out local shops before dinner but still were assured a table. The place is massive and offers a large dining room inside, an outside area with walls that open with garage doors, and a patio. It was pretty busy when we went but we still got everything super quick and it was delicious. The prime rib was to die for. Absolutely reccomend for families, couples, solo dining or big groups! Wish I remembered our servers name because she was awesome! Great job, keep it up y?all!
Now only to be fair I only ate at the restaurant and didn't stay at the hotel. The restaurant has a Moose Lodge feel to it. It has plenty of seating all around with nice areas looking outside in the local hills. The food is all really well done, and you get plenty of it! This would have been a 5-star review except our waiter was either so shy or was so new didn't know how to service a table really well. If the server was a little more attentive to us this would have been an excellent review instead of a very good one! Don't take my experience as a bad or negative against this place. This was a really good place to go to eat!
