The hotel was cute and cozy! We spent one night and loved it. The rooms were spacious and we were only 8 minutes away from Mount Rushmore which was the main reason we chose the hotel. The restaurant was delicious but beware that it can get very busy as soon as they open for dinner. The only downside was when we went to the pool which looked like it was not cleaned and had lots of bugs in it. I looked to see if there was a net to clean the pool but there wasn’t so we didn’t stay. The staff was friendly and I definitely recommend!

The Powder House was very warm and inviting from the moment we checked in. The room was very clean and had all the amenities. The restaurant staff was very friendly and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a wide variety to choose from. The only downfall was that the pool was full of bugs and we were looking forward to that. I still highly recommend!

The Powder House is legit! Accomodations are great and the restaurant is fantastic. Being from Wisconsin the Powder House restaurant is what I consider a quality supper club.

Stopped for a late lunch with 2 others. The waitress was promt, the Buffalo burgers, chicken nachos were very good! We sat right next to the original log wall!

We stayed the night here while passing through. Loved it! Would definitely stay again. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and beautiful rooms. Safe location. Perfect location for Mt. Rushmore and blackhills. Restaurant on location was amazing for dinner and breakfast! We highly recommend staying here
