Three Birds Bakery - Kew

Their vegan web mi, chim donuts, and vegan cakes are all delicious and reasonably priced! They also offer a variety of plant-based milks for your coffee. I had to take their pumpkin loaf home, which was wonderfully roasted and came with avocado and tahini—it was fantastic! I highly recommend this spot for affordable, quick, and convenient lunches! They also have many other vegan treats like wagon wheels, jam donuts, croissants, and discs. This is definitely the best place in town for vegan options!

I couldn't find any vegan chocolate croissants where let alone they really taste good! this caffe has not disappointed! highly recommend the chocolate croissants and zimt donuts! only bad side is that they sell in the regular fast, so they have to wait until the next charge is made (in the rule 30mins-1hr)

2nd visit: vegan banh mi, pie and doughnuts. They had a decent range today, the prices, service and food is good. Definitely a welcome addition to an area that appears to be upper middle class bogan, crossed with too rich to care about anyone/thing of worth, so decent ethical options are very thin on the ground. 1st visit: Enjoyed a decent pie (could use more pepper/flavour), a very well flavoured cinnamon doughnut and a pain au chocolat. All well priced and all enjoyable. Kew is definitely lacking for options, so this no doubt a welcome addition for the locals. According to the menu board, they also sell vegan pizza and a vegan satay roll which would be worth checking out. Only 3 stars due to being omni.

I had the vegan banh mi and a donut for lunch, and it was so delicious that I returned the next day to have the same meal! I work in a different area, and there aren't many great options nearby.

--- I discovered this charming little bakery in April 2021 and was thrilled to find that they still offer a wide range of delicious vegan options. I tried a vegan bánh mì, which was quite filling and reasonably priced at $8, although the mock meat was a bit chewy. The sesame bagel I had was excellent. In March 2020, I revisited after a long time and was pleased to see that there are still plenty of vegan choices. However, they had stopped labeling the vegan items, so you’ll need to ask about what’s available each day. During this visit, we enjoyed some very good coffee, and I took home a fruit loaf that was tasty, although a bit small for $7.50. Back in May 2019, I noticed that Kew seemed somewhat lacking in vegan-friendly places, so I was delighted to find this little bakery offering a great selection. All their baked goods are well-made and reasonably priced. I particularly loved the chocolate croissant and the cinnamon doughnut. I will definitely return, especially after the updates since my previous reviews on 2019-05-12 and 2020-03-09.
