Fong's Chinese Restaurant - Kenner

The best won ton soup ever!! This place has never disappointed me in all the years I have been going. I have never had a bad experience. And they are just so sweet and kind. I've done both eat in and take out and the quality is always the same:delicious.

I LOVE fongs!!!!! Best Chinese around I have eaten here for years have moved over an hour away and still have to have my Fongs. Very friendly greAt food. They always remember me. Can't say anything bad bout them. I love there food!!!

Like Visiting an Old Friend!. I have eaten at Fong 's for many years. I mostly have the carry away orders, but eat in the dining as often as possible. From the moment you walk in the front door, you are at home with the Fong 's. They greet you with a smile and bring back a nostalgic feeling of a time when customer service actually mattered! The food is ALL FRESH! Nothing is ever frozen and even the egg rolls are made fresh DAILY! They are served pre cut to you and are simply divine! My personal favorite is the sweet and sour chicken or shrimp. Every other restaurant would serve this is the nugget, deep fry method. Fong 's takes the time to coat each strip perfectly and further more the portions are very large. The prices on the other hand are anything but large! They are moderate and fair and very affordable! As far as the ambiance goes, I like a 'lived in ' homey feeling! I think it is fantastic! The butterfly back chairs and the great art lend the feeling that you know some very important people have eaten here over the past 30 40 decades! It is definitely a must do on any bucket list! EAT AT FONG 'S!

The hot and sour soup is delicious! The combo plates were good but not great. I would definitely get the soup again, and maybe a combo rice to try.
