Daisy Dukes Diner Kenner

Despite facing the same staff shortages as many others, this restaurant still provides a great experience. The food portions are generous and offer excellent value. The only downside is that the hot sausage leans more towards smoky than spicy. We will definitely return.

The food was decent, but the air conditioning was inadequate, making it quite warm inside the restaurant. There was only one waitress, but she was friendly and did an excellent job despite being the only one on duty.

I brought my daughter here for her birthday, but our experience was disappointing. We waited to be seated while the hostess chatted with others, completely ignoring us. She glanced in our direction several times but never acknowledged our presence. Although there were empty tables, the sign instructed us to "wait to be seated." When we decided to leave, the hostess finally looked at us but didn't say a word. This happened at 10:30 AM today. Unfortunately, they lost a potential customer and his family.

Needed a restaurant for late breakfast and lunch and Daisy Dukes delivered. Great basic breakfast items and a killer shrimp and grits made for a great eating adventure near the airport. Will return
