The Boathouse - KENNEBUNK

Unpleasant service, and the staff could benefit from better training. We were told a 30-minute wait for an outdoor table despite many empty tables being available. To add, while we waited for our table, we were serviced by a very grumpy bar tender with long hair and beard (probably the same one other comments complain about), unfriendly, made someone else wait in an imaginary line to order a drink behind the bar. Yeah thanks, we ended up enjoying our drink and having dinner elsewhere (at the Clam Shack across the water) with the same beautiful view.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant it even has a Boat attached to it with a full bar equipped! The food was delicious and they were super busy when we were there. But the star of the night had to be the clam chowder that didn’t even make it to the pictures ?? 10/10 recommend stopping at the Boathouse if you’re ever in Kennebunkport!!

I recently visited Boathouse in Kennebunkport, and while the location and atmosphere were wonderful, the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude, which really took away from what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing to receive such poor service in such a nice place.

This was the unfriendly and worst service I have ever had in the States. The male service staff were incredibly arrogant and condescending! Bad!
