Plum Cafe Bistro - Kenmore Australia

Last Thursday, I explored Kenmore Village and came across this cafe in a plaza. I decided to come back and try it out on a morning. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my poached eggs and smoked salmon with grilled tomatoes. The coffee was good and presented nicely with latte art. The portion size of smoked salmon was generous, though the poached eggs were slightly overdone. The service and coffee art earned extra points from me. Overall, I would give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

The Chilli Prawn Fettuccine ($21.95) was beautifully presented and came in a generous portion, garnished with 7 large and fresh sautéed prawns, Pecorini cheese, and Prosciutto. The perfectly cooked pasta was tossed in Olive Oil, Garlic, and Chilli, making it a fantastic value. Bellissimo! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at this restaurant and highly recommend it.

A few days ago, we tried the big breakfast at this restaurant and it is definitely one of the best in Brisbane! The sausage had great flavor and wasn't greasy, the bacon was cooked perfectly, the rosti potato was crispy without being greasy, and the chutney was outstanding. The only downside for me were the poached eggs, as I'm not a fan of them, but the rest of the plate made up for it. The long black coffee was a bit on the bitter side, but still enjoyable. I can't wait to return!

Been here for lunch a few times. Always good service food is good, not great. Prices a bit steep, but don't mind as it's consistently good.
