Original Joe's - Kelowna

We went on August 19th around 4pmWe seemed to be the only customers in the restaurant (should have been our first clue) except for a few young ladies sitting at the bar pounding back drinks.Our waiter seemed like he was not interested in helping up. Was NOT upbeat, cheerful or even polite at all. When my son said he would like a pop to drink and asked what flavors do you have and the waiter said "The usual". We asked what the usual is and he said "The usual" so my son asked for an orange soda and he said "We don't carry that, we only have the usual".I'm thinking "What the hell is THE USUAL"The food was SO-SO, not great.Will not be back

We took some friends from out of town here because we always have a great experience here. All of us were very impressed with our food and service. Emily was great as usual, thank you!

The food was good (steak sandwich/fish taco), service was attentive and friendly. Music not overwhelming. Nice dinner location.

Decent place to eat. They have "cheap wings" on Wednesdays. Kids are allowed in and they will have sports playing on their many big screen TV's, so if you are looking for a place that is kid friendly and has sports, this is a good place to try. Overall a good selection on their menus. Best thing they offer is their chicken fingers (not just kid size, they actually have adult portions!) and the garlic mashed potatoes!

We went there yesterday, Monday for a family get together. The server was friendly and attentive. The menu and service is typical bar type. they put everything in the middle and you get your own stuff. Our bottle of wine was set on the table, not opened or served. If I want to pour my own wine I can stay at home. The food came fairly fast, it was hot and ours tasted pretty good. The Calamari were a bit over done but okay.As far as the pricing go some of the food is over the top. $22 for a 6oz steak sandwich is ridiculous. Appetizers are $10 for Bruschetta which is a few pieces of bread and some tomatoes. Calamaris were $12 and something . Shrimps $16. 75.They must be running on a 10% food cost at this restaurant.Overall we were pleased , but there are much better places for way less money. I have worked over 45 years in the industry and know prices very well.
