Great place to celebrate my man birthday! we're safe back.

We decided to check out Bernie since it's a new spot in the city. We ordered the baked brie, pesto fries, barbacoa tacos, and avocado toast. All of these appetizers were delicious. The avocado toast had a nice kick to it. The portions were good enough to satisfy three people. I forgot to take photos, but the dishes were beautifully presented. We sat at a booth in the back of the restaurant; the seats were a bit uncomfortable, but it was convenient and the service was excellent. For dessert, we had the peanut butter cake; it was good, but not the best. I think we’ll try the apple cake with cheddar cheese next time.

I was quite disappointed to find that your online presence is not being maintained. The menu on your website is completely different from what is actually offered at the restaurant. My burger was lukewarm and half the size of the bun. The staff seemed uninterested in the customers, and their interactions lacked authenticity. The hostess with red hair should be advised against wearing a white skirt with a black bodysuit underneath, as it was quite off-putting. I only stayed for 34 minutes before leaving, and I doubt I'll return. It's frustrating because this place has so much potential.

Ambience was nice, service was good, but for what they're charging on the menu for entrees, I was expecting better. I would come back, but only for drinks and appies, not for a meal
