Pastel - Karlshorst

They specialize in pastel del nata and very little else. Thier nata was albeit cold- I love it warm. He suggested spraying the nata with powder sugar or cinnamon, I tried both but honestly I prefer the plain with nothing on top. They also serve a walnut version that is very suitable for this winter time and I found it very tasty.

Beautiful cafe where they sell very delicious Pastel de Nata. Although its definitely expensive 2.50 each), the quality is there. They also have vegan option. Friendly staff.

Absolute let down. They make one thing and should be good at it…but sadly not. Nothing like the pastel de nata in Portugal. Terrible pastry, bad cream. A sad experience. Real pastel de nata are so incredible and delicious, it’s a shame to find such bad ones. I hope no one tried their first one here! I’m confused by any positive reviews…
