U Zelené Brány - Karlin

The food at this restaurant is fantastic - excellent value with large portions. The garlic soup with croutons and pork knee were amazing. The wine was also very affordable.

This is not a fancy restaurant, it is a smoking establishment and the atmosphere is like a typical Czech pub. Nothing terrible, nothing that would impress. The food here is at a good price and is pretty good. The service is older, sometimes unfriendly. Definitely better than the neighboring Malovanka restaurant, so if you are standing at Malovanka and deciding between these two, come here. Or you can walk to the pizzeria a few meters up the street.

Nejlepsi je si jen tak sednout na zahradku a koukat na projizdejici tramvaje, pit pivo a nic nedelat. Je to celkem uklidnujici. Naproti stojici hotel Pyramida zajistuje pravidelny prisun turistu, kteri zde i neco typische tschechische poji. Kuchyne ujde, zadna hitparada ani propadak. Zrekonstruovali wc a tudiz odstranili slapaci paku, jez zajistovala tok vody.
