U Bulínů - Karlin

The food at U Bulinu is great. It 's like someone took a classically trained chef, forced him to appreciate Czech food, then let him go to town on Czech dishes with a gourmet spin on them. Not only that, but the waiters (never seen a lady working there) will make you wonder which country you are in. They are so nice and helpful and will even take the time to talk to you a little bit and joke with you. It is a little pricier, but you certainly get what you pay for here. I recommend it to anyone that loves Czech food and is tired of their local.

The duck and bread dumplings with cabbage here was delicious! This place was so cute and the staff were lovely!

We visited this restaurant couple times for lunch, dinner, or just to have a few drinks with friends. The prices of the lunch menu are very good, the dinner prices are a little bit more expensive. Last time we visited with a group of friends from Greece, who were in Prague for the first time, and had a very nice time. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful and understanding. We were returning burger back to the kitchen because it was not well-done as we wanted, but there was no problem with the return and the new meat arrived in a perfect condition. Our favorites are beef of tartar (tarák and baked camembert. It is also great that you can order a jar of tap water for few crowns. Careful, the restaurant is closed during the weekends (not sure if always, or just during the holidays and the English part of their website needs a little more work: . We made reservation through email and got respond very quickly. Of course, there are many good restaurants around this area, but this one is not so busy, where you can feel a little bit of family atmosphere.

A comida é boa e os preços acessíveis na ordem dos 25 euros por casal. Está sempre cheio e é um pouco barulhento mas vale a pena pela comida.

Un restaurant très simple mais avec une nourriture de très bonne qualité et des plats soignés. Je recommande surtout les plats des jours qui sont servis rapidement.
