Konírna - Karlin

The Konírna restaurant is located in the picturesque surroundings of Malá Strana. Upon arrival, you will be impressed by the tastefully decorated interior and the outdoor garden that invites you to sit and relax. I enjoy visiting this restaurant because they serve game dishes like no other place. For example, the wild boar with plum sauce and gingerbread dumpling has always been absolutely perfect. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. I can only recommend it.

I really enjoyed the traditional beef goulash soup at this restaurant! It was similar to an Indian mutton/beef stew served in traditional bread. The food overall was tasty, but be aware that most dishes contain ham in some way. If you're Muslim, stick to the safe soups or vegetarian options. However, on that day I was craving meat so this dish satisfied my hunger.

The best lunch in Prague. I was looking for the traditional goulash, served in a bread bowl. And Konírna surprised me. The meat was tender, served with a savory sauce that gradually softened the bread. Very good. It costs around 6€. I definitely left satisfied. I recommend it.
