South Ocean Chinese Restaurant

This is my favorite restaurant, located close to my home. The staff is friendly and the parking is easy and inexpensive. The Chinese food is delicious.

We have dined in at this restaurant several times and it has always been good. However, we were very disappointed with our takeout order tonight. My husband was excited for a Chinese omelette, but it was grey in color and had a rubbery texture. The sweet and sour chicken and beef also had a rubbery consistency, and the fried rice was dry and tasted stale. If this is the quality of the food now, we will not be returning. We are unsure what has happened to the cooking at the restaurant.

The chinese food at this place is really fabulous for its price. If you're ordering omelette and want authentic Chinese style Remember to tell them not to add gravy which they only add because of the local taste

My friend and I have been going to the restaurant for a while. Staff are always nice and the food is good. Lunch special is the best!

There is free parking available in front of the restaurant, but it is small with only around 50 seats. The owner helps with serving, and the waitstaff is a young non-Chinese person who does not speak or understand Chinese. The lunch menu is served quickly, but the roast duck and roast pork we tried were disappointing and not up to standard. This restaurant used to serve delicious Chinese food, but it has declined significantly. We will not be returning.
