Smiling Buffalo Cafe - Kangar

We went to Smiling Buffalo a few times for brunch/lunch. I liked their coffee drinks and had some great dessert options. Their menu has a good selection. I had their omelette twice since it was good with avocado on the side. Their salad and burger were delicious too! Great outdoor ambiance. The only thing is that they are very busy most of the time, so the wait time for food can be long. Give yourself enough time to eat. Must visit at least once when in Langkawi.

Food not too bad. Food was served hot, however beef was quite chewy, and wasn't fresh. Service food took more than 20 minutes however, understandable due to the place being a bit busy. The nice outdoor seating makes up for it. Atmosphere 5 start. Beautiful, relaxing, nice lush greens around. Will definitely visit again for breakfast.

A good restaurant with nice Langkawi vibes. We were welcomed by a relaxing ambience with tropical trees and singing birds. We enjoyed feeling that we were in Langkawi. Foods were okay but the issue was that they only had a small kitchen, which inevitably made the wait so long. So I wouldn’t come here if I’m very hungry. If I have plenty of time, it’s a nice option. They have great coffee so it’s also good for breakfast.

Really great experience! Both food and service were amazing and exceeded all my expectations! Good portions and super tasty I ordered the grilled chicken salad and the chicken wrap. Great terrace and quiet spot to enjoy your food and drinks.

Had our breakfast there after seeing it highly recommended by friends and also FB Google Map. We arrived at 9am and it was already crowded but still managed to get a place. The environment was good too. Cozy Kampung environment surrounded by trees and plants with a few kampung houses and antique cars!!! The breakfast choices were quite good. Heavy, light, savoury or sweet. Most important Good Coffee was available too!!! We ordered some of the famous ones like Tomato Poached Eggs, Avocado Toast, Banana Waffles... The food was all superb, but we had a long wait for the banana waffle due to missed communication between kitchen and floor staff... Will surely be back again when we revisit Langkawi.
