Oimo Cafe - Kamifukuoka

The owner is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. They run a sweet potato farm and serve the potatoes fresh in the café! It was very crowded on a Wednesday afternoon, and we had to wait for a table.

I visited the restaurant in the afternoon when a typhoon was approaching and it was pouring rain. Although it is a very popular restaurant, I thought it would be empty today, but I was wrong! It was full and we had to wait for an hour. As we were contemplating what to do, some groups left and we were able to get a table without waiting. The chilled sweet potatoes were already sold out, so we tried the baked sweet potatoes instead. It was more like a creamy and sweet potato paste than a baked sweet potato! It was delicious. The dessert assortment included sweet potato pudding, university sweet potato, sweet potato tart, and carrot cake. The carrot cake was the most delicious. They served Sencha tea in an iron kettle as a service. The interior of the restaurant, which was converted from a farmer's work shed, had a mid-century modern interior design and a baked sweet potato kiln, creating a calming atmosphere.

My friend and I arrived at Oimo after the last order had been placed and were informed that they had closed for the day. We were disappointed that we couldn't enjoy Oimo's high-quality coffee to recharge during our long journey. However, as we sat outside searching for another café, the staff recommended a local café and even gave us warm sweet potatoes! Their exceptional customer service left a great impression on us. We will definitely be returning to Oimo in the future!

コロナ禍では人図制限を行なっているため、予約してから訪問した方が良い。さつまいも以外にも家具にもこだわりがあり、食事以外でも楽しめる。さつまいもは甘いため、コーヒーとの相性が抜群である。

12時にランチのため来店。駐車場に車がたくさんありましたが、カフェの客は来店時は少なかったです。 私はグリーンカレーを注文。飲み物付きで1800円。カレーもコーヒーもとてもおいしかったですが値段が高過ぎだと思いました。ランチなのでもう少し安いとまた行きたいと思います。
