Morfia's Ribs Pies

My family and I traveled to Vegas for a wedding during spring break in March of 2023 from Chicago, and we drove to Southern California to visit for the first time. (Sorry it took me so long to write this review, I even saved my receipt so I wouldn't forget). My husband was craving BBQ so he searched on google for a place nearby while we were at the Santa Monica Pier. My family ordered a half pound of brisket, 3 spare ribs, and 2 sides: macaroni and cheese and baked beans. The meal was INCREDIBLE! The meat was tender, the baked beans were sweet, and the mac and cheese was the BEST I've ever had. If I'm ever in L.A. again, we're coming back! Love from Chicago.

$16 for TWO ribs…. To me that’s really overpriced. But, very friendly, ribs were delicious. I would go more often but it’s just too expensive

Really good bbq tacos, well priced and really friendly staff. Most bbq spots in the area can be a bit pretentious, this is not! Highly recommend. (My to go meal was $15 ish)

My brisket sandwich (ala carte) was 1/2 gristle. $17 got me a greasy, fatty, barely-edible sandwich. During a slow time of day (4 pm). Never going again. They don't speak English and I doubt the meat ever saw a smoker.

My first time here and I got the baby back pork ribs and they were just perfect! The owner is very nice and very friendly. The portions were spot on and I suggest you bring your appetite. Support small businesses including this place!
