Matteo's - Kalkbaai iNingizimu Afrika

Absolutely amazing time and service! This is my second time enjoying my birthday at the amazing Matteo’s! So quiet and relaxing I wouldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy my meal.

They had just reopened so they were doing their best to adjust. We were the first guests in on that first Sunday. Overall, we were thrilled to be there. There were a few kinks, but I expected that. I was really happy overall!

Their Osso Bucco is the best. My family has been going there for year coming from Monroiva, love the place

This is our third visit to Matteo's, twice on our own and once with guests. The food has been exceptional each time.... Spaghetti and Meatballs, Veal Piccata, Chicken Parmesiana. The salads and dessert are also excellent. Service is great. This place is a gem. Reasonably priced and historic.

A really nice restaurant with great food where you can actually have a conversation with your dinner companions. The bread is delicious (which is why they charge for a second basket), great Caesar salad and special salad with Gorgonzola, cranberries and nuts. Dinners were good sized and well prepared. We recommend both chicken dishes and the special pappardelle pasta with mushrooms. One of the very few restaurants that still serve tartufo (intense dark chocolate ice cream rolled in dark chocolate bits) and spumoni. Like being in Italy!
