Alameda Swap Meet

I visited this place on a weekday evening to try their suadero tacos, and I was blown away by how delicious they were! They offer a variety of meats to choose from, along with a self-serve salsa bar (though I do wonder about its safety during COVID). The grilled onions they provide for free really enhanced the flavor, and there was an amazing mixture of onion and habanero that packed quite a spicy punch. They also had the usual salsas, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tacos, each costing just $1! What a deal! Just a heads-up: make sure to bring cash, as it's essentially a cart on a street corner.

I am always pleased with my experience here! The tacos are fantastic and the prices are excellent! Since they are street tacos, they are on the smaller side, but I recommend trying one of each variety, as they offer about eight different types of meat. And don't forget to get an horchata!

The best authentic street tacos! We are willing to travel a long distance just to enjoy them. It's the perfect stop during a late-night road trip.

I haven't found a place with truly great food yet. The beverage selection is fantastic, especially because you can go back for refills. There's plenty to choose from. However, parking can be really challenging if you don't arrive within the first hour after they open. It costs a few dollars to park inside the swap meet.

We ordered a popular dish at El Texanito, which is usually great, but today it wasn't cooked properly. I'm not sure what happened.
