However, the service could use some improvement. During three out of five visits, my food arrived later than my partner's, with an average wait of about 10 to 15 minutes between our dishes. This can be quite frustrating if you prefer to enjoy your meals together, as it can lead to one of the dishes cooling down while you wait. Another thing to note is that sides are not served in the traditional manner; many items that you might commonly think of as side dishes are actually listed as separate menu items and are served accordingly. The restaurant also supplies the nearby Marzon Hotel, which may contribute to the slower service. Despite this, I would prefer our meals to be served together, even if it means a slight delay, rather than having one dish arrive significantly later than the other. **Rating:** **Food:** 5/5 **Service:** 5/5 **Atmosphere:** 5/5 If you’re in search of an outstanding dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is simply exceptional, especially the Fried Bangus Belly and the Fried Boneless Bangus—both are essential dishes to try. The Pesto Pasta is packed with flavor, and the Potato Wedges along with the Roasted Chicken are the perfect accompaniments to the meal. Be sure to indulge in a cup of their delightful Latte Coffee for dessert. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Overall, this restaurant is a true gem!
Wonderful coffee and tasty food, plus free Wi-Fi! The atmosphere is clean and spacious. It’s a perfect place to relax, catch up on emails, or dive into a great book.
This restaurant is home to the best coffee in town, providing a refreshing change from the standard Nestlé blends and instant coffee often found in Kalibo. The ambiance is laid-back and cozy while still exuding a stylish café atmosphere. The menu boasts an extensive array of Filipino dishes, featuring classics like sinigang, lechon, pancit, and seafood. One of the standout offerings is the selection of cakes; the kiwi cake I tried was not only my first experience but also the best I’ve ever tasted.
One of the main reasons I enjoy dining here is that they accept credit cards, which means you don’t have to carry a lot of cash around, offering some peace of mind regarding personal safety. Additionally, they have a private area for parties, which is a nice touch. The only drawback is that it's not located in the town center, making it somewhat challenging to find a tricycle to return to town for street celebrations, even when it's not festival season.
