Gil's Market - Kalamazoo

The restaurant is overpriced, has an unpleasant atmosphere, and attracts a lot of homeless individuals, substance abusers, and alcoholics. Additionally, the owner and staff come across as greedy and dishonest.

It’s not what it used to be. The meat and deli sections are gone, and there are a lot of empty shelves. This place used to be a bustling market, but now it mostly offers chips, sodas, and beer.

As always, the service was exceptional. I hadn't been here since I was a child, and I must say that the level of service far exceeded my expectations.

I stopped by today to buy some bread, but unfortunately, there was none available. The only items for sale were alcohol, soft drinks, and snacks. Perhaps there’s a new owner?

The restaurant rarely opens at the scheduled times. Their prices are inflated for all items. If they only served alcohol, customers wouldn't have any higher expectations.
