Maru Sushi Grill - Kalamazoo

I've been going to Maru for years, and my experience today was great as always. I tried the crab mushrooms for the first time today, and they could be my new favorite menu item. I also had the soy joy and spicy salmon rolls, and they tasted fresh and delicious. The Soju-Limonade is a must!

Great service and food. Good atmosphere and interior. Like the old-fashioned building in look. Good part of food, depending on what you get.

Well priced mixed drinks. Sushi is fun and vibrant.

Wonderful date night experience. Got a reservation a few nights before and it was smooth sailing from there. The waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. Will return! Also that bacon sushi is incredible ;

Great vegetarian sushi options! I believe most of the vegetarian options are also vegan, but they stopped labeling their menu “vegan” ever since covid, which is disappointing. When my parents visited Kalamazoo, they said this was their favorite meal.
