Legit Mexican food on the big island. Carnitas tacos were awesome and red sauce covered burrito was equally good.
Prices are reasonable but do not warrent the single status. What sets this place apart from other dismal Mexican offerings in Kona is the freshness of the preparation. Carne Asada is always flavorful and tender. Try the nachos and the tamales on Wwdnesdays. Mmmmmmm
OMG Real Mexican Food! The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly, the service was fast, the prices were great, and the amount of food we received vs the cost was perfect. ALL in ALL, I definitely recommend this local Mexican eats to anyone who is looking for REAL Mexican food. I initially rate a Mexican food establishment by the taste and freshness of their salsa. BINGO! Frikin awesome. Their hot salsa was a bit salty but still good. Cool atmosphere inside a well.
Fast and fresh! What more can ya say! This place is awesome! I am use to California Mexican food, which is usually awesome! This place rivals California Mexican food very well! I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be back! Also, nice outside eating area! :
