I would give this restaurant a one-star rating, but the service was excellent and our server was very friendly. The restaurant itself is very dimly lit, but our food arrived promptly. I ordered the chicken dinner, which looked appetizing, but the chicken was undercooked and pink in the middle. I had to use my iPhone flashlight to see properly because of the dim lighting. The chicken and even the fries were overly greasy. My girlfriend ordered the fish and chips, which were also very greasy. This restaurant would benefit from hiring a new cook, as the service was the only positive aspect of our experience.

Originally, we intended to dine elsewhere but the wait was too long. As we entered, we passed through a small candy store before arriving at the restaurant. The ambiance was dimly lit, creating a somewhat dungeon-like atmosphere. The omelet lacked flavor and I found it odd that it didn't come with any toast or potatoes. I had to order these items separately, which was inconvenient. The avocado toast was dry and overly seasoned with lemon pepper, making it difficult to enjoy. I am giving this restaurant 2 stars solely because of the friendly servers and waitstaff, who even provided coloring materials for our daughter. Unfortunately, I doubt I will return for the food.

The food at this restaurant was truly inedible. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, half chicken, and lemon chicken sandwich. The pork sandwich was soggy on the bottom and the meat was dry. The half chicken was undercooked and the cold beans on the side were not tasty. The chicken sandwich lacked flavor and the coleslaw was an unusual red color. Our waitress was kind and comped the chicken, but overall it was a waste of money. The atmosphere was like a cave and the carpeting was a red flag for us. We do not recommend this place.

The Turkey was way too salty, the mashed potatoes bland and the cider far sweeter than others I've tried. It was annoying that we were informed once we sat that they were completely out of tri-tip instead of telling us during the wait time. I personally wouldn't recommend this place.

The waitresses offered outstanding service and I enjoyed the most delicious fish and chips I have ever had.
