Chipotle Mexican Grill - Jonesboro

Today, I ordered a steak quesadilla, and it was quite enjoyable. The steak tasted fresh, unlike my previous experience. The salsa, guacamole, and sour cream were also fresh and flavorful. My spouse is a fan of Chipotle and ordered a burrito along with a steak quesadilla. However, they noted that the steak in the quesadilla had an unusual flavor. Additionally, my spouse felt the burrito lacked meat and was mostly filled with rice. If you look closely at the picture, you might spot the protein in the burrito. One thing I appreciate about Chipotle is the option to order online or through the app and conveniently pick up my order at the ChipotLane window. I have to agree with other reviewers who mentioned that their stores in other parts of the US tend to offer more generous portions of protein.

To make matters worse, she started our order with her gloves covered in the sauces from the previous burrito and kept touching a marker, spreading the mess everywhere. I noticed that her shirt was hiked up halfway up her back, which was quite unprofessional. I ended up asking her to wrap my burrito twice because she hadn’t done it properly the first time, but I still received a half-wrapped burrito with its contents spilling out—a nightmare to eat. While I was waiting to pay, I saw a female manager with a short, dark ponytail casually eating chips with her bare hands from a communal chip container. If she had been focused on training staff instead, perhaps I would have ended up with a burrito I could actually eat.

When I lived in Arizona, I used to eat at Chipotle all the time, so we decided to stop by just after lunch to give it another try. We ordered two bowls, two drinks, and a large order of cheese chips, and the total came to $42! Unfortunately, the food was dreadful. My bowl had brown rice that could only be described as uncooked, barely any steak, and almost no black beans—apparently because “there's nobody back there cooking.” Meanwhile, I noticed eight employees in the lobby watching a video, including someone who looked like the manager and should know how to cook. To top it off, the large order of chips and queso was laughable! There were only half a bag of chips, and they were so stale they were inedible. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed and won’t be spending our money there again!
