Hardanger House - Jondal

We arrived at Jondal at 1 o'clock and had a reservation at another hotel in a different city, but were unable to travel further due to the ferry not running. We decided to go to the Hardanger House and called the number on the window. The lovely manager Oda quickly arrived at 2 o'clock from her home. If she hadn't come, we would have been stuck in the car with a 4-year-old child - it was an incredible gesture! I cannot thank her enough. The hotel is simply fabulous! The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a balcony overlooking the water, modern amenities, an espresso machine, a large double bed, and everything was immaculately clean. The terrace was stunning. Even though we were the only guests staying that night, Oda prepared an amazing breakfast for us the next morning. I highly recommend this hotel - it was the most beautiful place I have stayed in Norway. Thank you so much for your assistance.

The service at this restaurant was good and the location was convenient, however, there were a few downsides. The dinner we ordered cost 695 per person and the portion sizes were very small. I was left wanting more for my second dinner.

The 3-course dinner was fantastic, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. The only downside was the wobbly table.

I had a great stay. the room was large and comfortable. eating was excellent and the staff is very nice and appealing. the view from the restaurant is excellent and along with the music it has contributed to a quiet experience. I would like to recommend this hotel.
