Korean Taco House - Johnson City

This is my family's go-to spot for ramen. The taco, which comes in one style with various meat options and can be mild or spicy, is fantastic. My personal favorite is the bibimbap, which features rice, freshly julienned vegetables, and kimchi served in a warm clay pot—it's always delicious. This place is a must-try if you're in downtown!

We had a fantastic lunch today! The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We sampled the tacos, trying the beef, pork, and chicken varieties, along with both the sweet and spicy sauces. Everything was delicious! The spicy tacos had a nice kick and left a lingering warmth. The prices were quite reasonable, and we received a generous portion of food. We will definitely return, and I’m particularly excited to try their fried rice plate and the build-your-own ramen.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. While I can’t speak for every item on the menu (I’m just not adventurous enough to try squid), I’ve sampled nearly everything, and it’s all fantastic. I fell in love with the japchae on my first visit, and since then, I’ve tried it in several larger cities, often paying more, but none have come close to being as good. I highly recommend visiting on a Saturday, as that’s the only day it’s served. Don’t miss the bulgogi or the fried rice wrapped in an ultra-thin egg with a delicious sweet sauce (and that’s coming from someone who is very picky about eggs and usually avoids them when dining out), as well as the bibimbap. And make sure to try the ramen; it’s nothing like the sad, instant varieties most people are used to—it’s truly a delight. Oh, and the tacos are a must-try! I suggest ordering at least two so you can experience one with the sweet sauce and another with the spicy sauce (if you’re not a fan of cilantro, just ask them to skip it). I’ve introduced quite a few people to this place, and every single one has left a fan. You won’t regret it!

The food is superb! And the owner is super friendly and willing to make your meal just the way you like it! I highly recommend the spicy beef tacos, as an appetizer only of course!

Best place for lunch in Downtown Johnson City. Everything is fresh and tastes great. Recommend the lunch Bulgogi if you like beef. Tacos are soft shell and lite. Highly recommend.
