We bugged Frank about3 times on phone post recommendations from our host at Darang Tea Estate, Palampur. It was a brand new experience for us trying out his surprise Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Menu. The ambience, the food and the service was very pleasing. It's a must go to place, especially after paragliding. Over and above the food, his restaurant has a very artistic and a rustic appeal. After reading over the internet on his initiatives with the locals, we were really impressed. Here's wishing the entire 4 table's team all the very best in their arty an culinary sojourns.

The man behind this Cafe & Gallery is Frank Schlichtmann, who has lived here for nearly a decade now. He had started with his “4tables” café which also has an interesting gallery. With his efforts, the tiny shops in the village square have been artistically transformed by various artists from around the world. Frank loves to cook and is impromptu with his menu!A must visit of travelers who loves art, artistic cuisine and nature!

The 4tables is located in Gunehar and is possibly one of the best places we have dined in. The ambience, location, setting and more importantly the attitude of the owner and staff was amazing. Frank is an amazing person who immediately puts you at rest and suman who steals your heart with amazing food. Frank himself is an amazing cook with an astounding ability to cook everything to your taste. An experience to be savored and every moment there is to be enjoyed to its fullest. Everything here is freshly cooked and served piping hot. The cafe is done up with a keen eye and attention to detail. The seating is limited but you're treated like a king. The breakfast menu is mouth watering to say the least and the pancakes delicious. A must visit if in Bir to unwind and have soul food.

Its a beautifully located place in a small village called gunehar ... a beautiful surprise! the host Frank is an awesome guy who will feed u continental cuisine in a way that u will feel like u are a part of the family...suman is the cook who is a ever smiling gracious lady who serves u with so much of warmth .....food is excellent n u can give your choice n it will be made freshly and served to you! i loved this place n am sure any one will. don't forget to visit the gallery ...beautiful n innovate art work! frank will even guide u to was else u can do at Bir Billing....i thoroughly enjoyed the place,food n the people...will surely go back!

We read their direction board and they were highly recommended by our stay hosts.First time round - we din't find them. Fortunately we persisted and discovered this food heaven!Special mention of Teckchand who made us comfortable at the lovely and tastefully curated 4 Tables Cafe and ensured a memorable lazy lunch which we washed down with their signature cocktails!We tried almost everything that was on the menu and available (a few tempting preparations were not available since they serve only freshly cooked); Though everything was just perfect, a special mention of pork wraps.....They serve wood fired pizzas and screen movies on Saturday evenings, which am sure would be a must-do.Keep up the great work, Team 4 Tables!!Cheers!
