Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe stayed here for about a week in May and we loved it. Time moves slowly in Bir and this is one of the better cafes in this tiny town. The food(mostly italian) is good but slow to arrive. There were a lot of bothersome houseflies and other insects flying around. The rooms are pretty basic but worth the money. 500/night for a double bed.
Pros-Nice little place, simple menu, seating is available both outside and indoors, relaxed atmosphere. Cons-Very dirty open kitchen with lots of houseflies. Mushroom and other veggies kept in the open. Ordered grilled sandwich and pizza, Sandwich was good, pizza came cold. Dirty washroom. All the staff went to have their lunch leaving customers with no choice but to wait.Overall -good ambiance, bad hygiene and service.
This little cafe is away from the maddening crowds of bir. Its towards the end of the little tibetan town.. away from the landing site and nearer to the monastery down the road. They are shut early evening. Service takes a while but when it arrives, everything is delicious. Nice desserts here. I actually saw a little film set in this cafe thats why i wanted to go there and sure enough it was a good idea.
I wanted to sit outside at the garden view but it was raining and yes if you are in hurry do not visit this cafe as they prepare everthing fresh even soup....we ordered coffee tomato soup pizza and pancake and i was relishing each and every bite of it...it was soooooo yum !!!
This is the place to be when not in a hurry. Find a seat, the place is always buzzing with people, take a book and relax. Menu is an eclectic mix of Italian, Mexican, Continental, salads n sandwiches et al. Almost everything is prepared freshly post ordering, so chill, once your stuff arrives, you gonna love it, Great place to hang around for couple of hours
