Greene Hook Kitchen - Jersey City

Great neighborhood bar to catch up with colleagues or friends. Standard American Fare. The best part of this place is the sports menu on offer, near the coast and only one of the few bars in the area except the iron apes that is good.

Greene Hook is a good place to go with friends to see a game and stay for hours. We had the Hook Burger and Fat Joe Sandwich and both were tasteful and fillable (generous size sandwich safe). Although the chicken was fried, it was not too fat and had a nice crunch. The Bourbon bread pudding is mainly the ice cream delish.

Great service pretty good food! Came here for a date night the food was pretty good my boyfriend enjoyed his meal I got the jalapeño Mac cheese I thought had better expectations it was too bland for me, looked great so I assumed but i needed more seasoning more flavor for sure! The drinks were super good tho! I?d come back again

Great service great food. Best poutine. We traveled from md the night before a cruise. Can't wait to go back. Creative cuisine. Hip and comfortable atmosphere. Lots of smiles and all staff that passed by spoke and asked if we needed anything even made me a special drink not on menu
