Black Sheep Bagels - Jamesport

I appreciate the signs about inflation around the store, but paying $6 for a bagel with this little cream cheese feels unreasonable. I believe $6 should buy more than this! Additionally, it took the staff 20 minutes to assist just two customers.

What's puzzling is why it takes four employees to prepare each order. They were all standing around, seemingly making each individual sandwich, while customers waited. It would be more efficient to have a dedicated cook handle the cooking, which would allow customers who just want a bagel to get in and out in under 5 minutes rather than 10. Unfortunately, half of my bagel ended up in the trash because it was so saturated with butter. I understand it was toasted, but they really need to use less butter. I'm very disappointed. I would have preferred to discuss my experience directly with the owner, Chris, but he wasn't there. Next time I visit and he is present, I will make sure to speak with him.

The bagel selection here is fantastic! We tried the onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious. This is the perfect place for breakfast. It can get quite busy on weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait.

This is one of the finest bagel shops in town. The service is incredibly quick, and the food is always served hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

This bagel shop is undoubtedly one of the best in Riverhead. I visit almost every weekend to get breakfast for my family. The bagels here are incredibly soft, unlike those at other places that can be as hard as a rock. They’re so soft that I can even enjoy them the next morning! In addition to their delicious bagels, their omelets are exceptional. I highly recommend this bagel shop and always tell my friends and family to check it out as well.
