Isaga - Jaco Costa Rica

OMG! This place is so good!!! It is strapped off on a side street so that you are away from the hectic and the bustle on the main strip. The seafood soup is so good that they should probably sell it worldwide. We want to go back to Costa Rica. This will be the first place we eat!!

Great food with large portions the casado can feed two for sure. Great mix of locals and tourists; lovely serving staff; super reasonable prices (very cheap actually when you consider the portions). Their special when we were there was mahi mahi crusted in coconut and it was beyond delicious. Yum! Check out Isaga when in Jaco!

The staff was extremely nice even if they didn’t speak English, they try to understand me. The food was delicious, I had a fish with creamy sauce and it was so comforting to eat after a long day! Cooked to perfection and fairly priced. I recommend.

After more than 10 days having local food in Costa Rica, I'd rate this restaurant the best. Even the menu is quite similar to that of other local restaurants, it distinguished itself by its tastiness and quality. And reasonably priced. The sopa de marisco was packed with umami and the lomo encebollado was tender. Rico..
