Keke's Breakfast Cafe - Jacksonville

I waited about 30 minutes, which wasn't too bad. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was really good. I had the apple cinnamon French toast, and it was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely come back!

I?m impressed with the food and service. It was pretty busy in there but you wouldn?t know it. Our server was very attentive and the food came out quick. Plus it was delicious, I?ll definitely be back for more! Oh and the home fries???they were so good, I ate them so fast I forgot to get take the picture lol

My party called ahead to inquire about reserving a table. We were informed that we could be placed on the wait list. Since it was 1:15 when we called and the restaurant closes at 2:30 we inquired rather or not we would be able to be accommodated. We were informed as long as we were there by 2:30 we would be able to eat and our wait for a table would be about 30 minutes. Our party arrived separately. The first person in our party arrived at 2pm and our table became available shortly afterwards. I arrived at 2:10 to find out the wait staff had been rude to the first member of our party and shortly there after us as well. We were waiting for the two remaining members of our party. Even though several tables were open the waiter at the front of the establishment refused to seat the three of us that were there even after informing him the remaining two members were one mile away. Finally he agreed to sit us but was unprofessional in his demeanor and basically threw our menus on the table. If it wasn 't for the fact that our friends birthday, the one who chose the restaurant, still wanted to eat there our party would have walked out and left. There server was sweet and she saved the subpar experience. If it was an issue serving our party we should not have been allowed to dine. We could have went somewhere else. However being told they could accommodate us, rushing us to place an order, being welcomed into the restaurant as oh your the one mile away ones, just as my first time eating here it will definitely be my last. The food was ok but I 'm sure the experience spoiled the possibility of how great it could have been. Oh the manager on duty was rude as well so there was no one besides our waiter who acted like they were still on the clock.

If you want to avoid a long wait, make sure you arrive early! I really appreciate their text notification system that lets you know when your table is ready. The food here is fantastic, and the drinks are quite generous! The atmosphere is family-friendly, although I did have a toddler from a neighboring table bump into the divider during my meal (parents, please keep an eye on your little ones). The waitstaff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel cramped, which is a plus! I'll definitely be coming back regularly!

This was my first time at KeKe's Cafe, the food was delicious and a great price. Waiting for the food was a little long, but it's good.
