Authentic south boils from the ham stalls and pork sandwiches to the smashed fried chicken with yams and greens that I ate. recognized as james beard classic with good ground. that was delicious. this is a clean and well managed (yes, funky) place in the heart of jacksons foodie scene.

Look at some real South Sea Seelene food with serious southern hospitality! hands down the absolute best greens I ever had! the meat leaf was perfection and the engraving had exactly the right amount of hot soße. I ate everything! then sealed the deal with pfirsich and blackberry bully! if you're ever in jackson, ms, you have to eat at bully. it will be the best soul food they can find!

Absolutely delicious! I had the oxtails, with dressing, greens and mac and cheese, the oxtail was so tender and tasteful, my daughter had baked chicken legs and mac and cheese as they can see that she loved it also had the strawberry shortcake, one of the best I ever had!

Best soul food that I had ever! it was also clear that everyone really interested that they enjoyed their meal and culinary experience. a rare thing nowadays. can wait to go back.

The owners are very kind. This was my first time visiting and the lady up front made sure my order was right. She went out of her way to make sure my strawberry shortcake and smothered chicken dinner was great . This place feels genuine and had such a warm atmosphere and the food was awesome.
