Back Yard -be-cue - Jackson

We liked this place even though the sauce had a bit too much bite for our tastes. The barbecue sandwich with slaw was nice. I really liked the fixings bar with onions, pickles, etc. We also tried the onion loaf. I would have liked more breading, but that didn't stop us from eating all of it. Other tempting menu items include barbecue nachos, several types of stuffed potatoes and barbecue salads.

This is my go-to when I want BBQ at lunch time! So delicious, every time! Sauce is awesome! Meat is cooked wonderfully! Great place to eat!

The staff were very friendly and polite. I loved the sauce and bought a bottle to take home. The food here is really good. I had a BBQ plate with pulled pork and beef brisket a side of baked beans and green beans. Everything was really good, except for the green beans. They were just fair, maybe some onion and or pepper added while they cook, but OK none the less.

Good food. No wait. Reasonably priced. Courteous staff. What more could you want?

My church group traveled 2 hours to eat lunch here. I got the chicken topped baked potato. I really enjoyed it. Some of the ladies ordered onion rings. It was the largest pile I have seen. They shared them with 3 of us and they had a light batter and were very good! I highly recommend both. We enjoyed our trip.
