It's not usually crowded, which is nice, although there was one time when I had to wait. Despite a mix-up with our order by the waitress, my experience has always been positive and I will definitely be returning. The hibachi food, especially the chicken fried rice, is delicious, as are the soups. My only complaint is that the sushi rolls are larger than normal, making it difficult to fit a whole roll in your mouth, which I believe most people should be able to do.
I had no expectations when dining at this small-town Tennessee restaurant. I was just craving some sushi and maybe some sake. The restaurant delivered on my cravings. While I wasn't blown away by the experience, it met my expectations. The sushi rolls were decent, although the ingredients weren't the freshest. The presentation was mediocre at best, but I still enjoyed myself. It felt a bit rushed since I arrived last minute and they were about to close, but they still served me. I would consider dining here again, but it's not the ideal place for a date. The ambiance is lacking and the decor feels outdated. Compared to sushi in Tokyo and other big cities, this restaurant is average. However, I believe in supporting small businesses, so I recommend giving it a try.
I decided to give this place a chance and my first impression was that the interior was a bit underwhelming. It's not a place you would take someone to try and impress them. I noticed they now offer a Chinese menu, so my friend and I decided to order from the lunch menu. I got the chicken Katsu and my friend ordered the hibachi steak. We also ordered hot and sour soup, a garden salad with ginger dressing, and shrimp Gyoza. The soup was hot with a good amount of heat, but it was a bit slimy and not the greatest. The garden salad with ginger dressing, however, was delicious! The Gyoza was alright, but I prefer pork over shrimp. The chicken Katsu was fantastic, with the coleslaw on the side being tasty as well. The hibachi steak was also great. Overall, I would consider coming back and next time I will definitely try some rolls. The prices were reasonable and the service was good too.
I wish I could give them five stars, but happy cow will not allow for non-vegan restaurants. few places know how to make a beautiful raw vegan salad with seaweed and avocado and other rainbow colored vegetables, but sakura has mastered this art. I order the sweet sun mono with extra seaweed and the sweet sushi every time I go, and I'm never disappointed. for those who are looking for a fast service, a friendly staff and an affordable bite directly from I-40, this is a good option. my most vegetarian children and allni mann also enjoy the offers. Look at her!
