Slice Shop - Irvington

I'm really disappointed that this place has closed down. It offered the best New York-style pizza I've had since I moved to Westchester from NYC two years ago. What set this restaurant apart was the high quality of its ingredients and the attention to detail in its preparation. Everything I tried was fantastic, from the plain and sausage pizzas to the toadstool and grandma varieties. While it was a bit on the pricey side, the quality of the food was exceptional. Dear Owner, I don't know if you'll see this, but your Slice Shop and pizzas will truly be missed.

Delicious pizza! My husband ordered a cheese slice, and it had the perfect amount of sauce—just the right balance without being too strong. We live about 30 minutes north, but I would definitely return for more pizza!

I went to have pizza at 8 PM with six friends, and although the door was open, we were told they were closed. Their hours clearly state they close at 9 PM, which feels like false advertising. Thumbs down!

Salad Pizza is absolutely delicious. Love the hip decor of this modern pizza shop. Glad to have this in Irvington

Nice guys, decent pizza. Unfortunately, I think the quality has declined over the past couple of months. Plain slice used to get topped with fresh basil and Parmesan. Now it's just an average plain slice. Okay, but not great and if I'm being honest the crust is too thick for the amount of cheese they put on it. Specialty slices were all excellent last time I tried them. Don't know if that changed also but I may not give them another shot. There are plenty of pizzerias in the area. Did you guys change ingredients or lower quality in order to lower prices? I'm pulling for you, but I may just be nostalgic... wishing it was as good as the first visit.
