Elk Hound - Ironwood

Ordered our food. After 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting someone finally came to ask if we wanted more water, we asked about our order. The waitress came over asked if someone took our order. We said Yes she did . Worst service ever. Heading to Walmart to get food so we can eat.

Horrible. Get their and wait 5 minutes before I see a hostess. Hostess tells me 5-10 minute wait for a table for 3 without a reservation. Had no problem with that at all. So me and my kids wait well over a half hour just to be told that it would be at least another 20 minutes because they had 2 server's walk out. I was not waiting! While waiting I watched the hostess ignore and walk by people who were waiting multiple times. Half of the staff I see running around looked hopped up drugs. Zipping around and twisting like they forgot something only to twist back around. Almost ever time I seen them they acted like that.The parking lot wasn't even close to being full, and I know they can run a larger compasity of customers than what they were running. And the fact that they had 2 server's walk out of them shows that they might need to treat their employees better, especially with a job market like it is, jobs being hard to find it probably too a lot for these two servers to just walk out like that.I hold the establishment responsible for our poor experience. This is supposed to be a well maintained, higher class establishment and is not run like such. It's sad, cause they've lost my business in a small community.

Nice place able to accommodate our group of 9 easily. Food and service was good. Small soup and salad bar was excellent, small but had all the right stuff. Plenty of parking.

NOT satisfied at all?My wife and I have tried several timesto dine/Call in an order and experience the food at the- “Elk and hound.” Every time we went, either the door was locked with the open sign ON, or no one answers the Door and/or phone during business hours. After looking at the reviews being poor, I can’t imagine how a business like that stays open. We might as well throw the gift card we received away because they don’t WANT to give service, let alone a good service and what type of business throws away its customers??? ?

Great burger and old fashioned, plus amazing service.
