Aberdeen Resort - Independence

We were just passing through the area and were met with such kindness. The staff provided us with a comfortable place to stay on our anniversary. Although the bar and restaurant were closed during our visit, we truly enjoyed our time there. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality; it was greatly appreciated. – Dan and Kat

It's a stunning place that we enjoy visiting throughout the year whenever we feel like it. There's a charming little stream where you can go fishing, and the restaurant even makes its own chips!

Had a chance to sit and have the special of the day. Excellent, not your mother's cheese sandwich. Cool place to sit and a relaxing time for lunch or dinner. Only had lunch and servers were welcoming, thoughtful and attentive. Opens seasonal but worth the time. It offers a bar to the dinning room and a terrace. Store with RV and range of products for fishing and camping. Bought a water hose regulator adapter and looking for another fishing stick hanging on the wall. The latter works great to let me fish in her pond. I didn't find the time to regret it.

Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays... We love their desserts! Cute little stop off the 395 hussle in a shady area with a cooling creek. It's worth a try.

This is a quaint little community with a restaurant that unfortunately closes during the winter months. The food is excellent, and they maintain clean public restrooms. A charming brook flows through the area, which is well-stocked by the Department of Fish and Game. Overall, it's a beautiful place with friendly locals.
