Cafe Di Roma - Imperial Beach

Good food, good service. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Delicious. It came with Focaccia bread. I've tried Focaccia-Brot before and I don't like it. It was flat, sometimes hard and tasted like cardboard, but this bread was different. It was light, fluffy and simply melted in the mouth! It tasted like the most delicious freshly baked bread, perfect in any way. My meatballs were tasteful and also fresh. I give them 4 stars because I didn't like my salad. It had cheese on it. I don't like cheese on my salad and it had a sliver with tomatoes and a piece of cucumber. Definitely needed more. Here is my advice on how to improve; cut the salad into smaller pieces, add more tomatoes and cucumber. Add some black olives and peppermint. It's a salad. Also, serve it in a bowl. The dressage runs from the plate like the salad. Ask the customer if they want cheese. And although your Focaccia bread is good, why not also offer garlic bread? Or isn't that Italian? Anyway, I enjoyed my meal here. The owner, a very sweet lady, gave me a Christmas card and showed me in the restaurant various artefacts paintings and sculptures and where they came from Italy. I felt like sitting in the living room at home from someone, not a restaurant. Very cozy, comfortable. I'm glad I tried it here!

Once again we had a fabulous dinner! It's so nice to come by and be remembered by the owners. You're so kind! We were wondering how we are. Talking to us like we're family. My son has his normal pizza. My husband has the salmon. I have the manicotti with spinach and meatball. My son loves her pizza and he is not shy to let her know that her pizza is his favorite and the best. The salmon was so delicious! Yum! Manicotti was so cheerful and fresh! The Manicotti Pasta is made there and fresh pasta is the best! I have her aubergine normally... I love this SOO a lot, but decided to try the Manicotti and it did not disappoint! My husband has the chocolate tiramisu and I have the Cannoli. Oh, man, the chocolate tiramisu was sooo rich, but sooo good! And her cannoli is the best of all time! I love this place so much that it is our main Italian restaurant stop!

This place is delicious and the service is top-notch. We had the Foccacia bread, the Antipasto plate, Auberginenparmesan and Lasagne. Everything was as good and not difficult as other Italian places. I have eaten in many places in IB and I could go so far that this is the best place, especially because of the service. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. I felt like we went to a café in Italy. Very recommended! They're going through, too.

Great dinner, people are really warm and friendly, this is my favorite spot at Imperial Beach!!! Super clean, love the music, the whole place is perfect.

The service was slow and there was no ac, but that being said, the food is fantastic. I would definitely recommend going. I had the salmon with angel hair and asparagus. Salmon was perfect and sauce was great. It’s not on the printed menu. They have a separate daily special menu when you’re Mom had the lasagna. She’s quite picky and she loved it. Focaccia bread is brought to the table fresh and hot. Great little hole in the wall place.
